Sweetened Sliced Saba
Sweetened Sliced Saba or “Minatamis na Saging” is a classic Filipino dessert made of cooked sliced Saba bananas and sugar syrup. Golden Saba has conveniently made this product frozen and ready to heat and enjoyed at any time. It can be served with sago (tapioca), with shaved ice and milk like “Saba Con Yelo” or as an ingredient in the popular Filipino shaved ice dessert called “Halo Halo”.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Microwave:
To heat the whole pack, directly place Golden Saba microwavable pack in microwave oven. To heat a few pieces, place desired number of pieces in a microwave safe container with cover. Set at high temperature. Heat for 5 to 6 minutes until Saba bananas are tender. Let it stand for 1 minute before serving. Serve warm.
Note: Heating times may vary depending on the oven wattage and the number of bananas heated at one time.
Steam:
Put desired number of pieces in steamer. Heat for 20 minutes or until Saba bananas are tender. Let it stand for 1 minute before serving. Serve warm.
